It was a big mistake to buy N97, i have problems with it from beginning and i am really wondering, how can something like this come to market.
The latest problem is - i am not able to open/refresh feeds anymore.
I tried to remove all of them, put them again back - and still it says - "Unable to open feed".
Please does somebody haves a solution, except of trashing the phone?

To be honest, I have the same problem & yet I do not have a solution...![]()
I guess it's a bug in the browser...
It's really disappointing to have such an issue because with my previous N95 8GB I didn't have such a problem in opening feeds...
Can anyone help in this issue???

Same problem here. I left my N97 in service due to scratches in camera lense and whe nI got it back and updated some phone software, webfeeds don't work, even if I try to update access points.
Really disappointing!

Hmm still, no reply / solution here? Nokia....?
I had reconfigured, and check all the network settings, browser settings and feed settings, there isn't anything else i can change, and it just doesn't work. So, this problem does not have anything to do with network settings, it is some bug.
Seems like almost nothing is working on this phone. I mean, i should just work, but it not.
I put it to service 2 weeks ago, maybe i should do it again - there isn't any other solution for me now. And the ignorance from Nokia makes me so angry...
If there will not be any solution soon, i will just cancel my contract - that is my final decision. Maybe if everybody does, they will notice that they didn't made something correctly.

I had this problem too a while back and the V11 firmware didn't make it go away.
I got mine to clear after I did a hard reset and then restored items individually (instead of from a backup).
BUT I think the problem was in the Web browser settings for the RSS feeds.
Web->Options->Settings->Web feeds->Acc. point for auto-update
I think it defaults to "Auto Dial-in ISP" but you should make it your standard Internet access setting. I use "AT&T Internet".
After I changed this, I now have 10 feeds that update on different intervals (some every 4 hours, others once a day, others once a week).
Don't give up!

Dang! It just happened to me too! And changing the Acc point for auto-update doesn't work. It's downright annoying! I hope the upcoming firmware fixes it.

Same problem here. Just bought my Nokia 97N two days ago. At first the webfeeds worked perfect. But suddently it became 'corrupted' in a way. I didn`t do any thing special what could have caused this problem. I just cant get to the webfeed tab (where my webfeeds are listed). Its really a pain....
Next I tried to install Nokia Software Updater, I know its a different topic but I need to tell this: Installed on two computers and on both computers it failed. I got the message: Configuration error. I did what was told in solutions but it didn`t work.
Anyone knows a solution and Nokia: please fix it....

It was not quite quick... First I installed new firmware 12.0.024, but of course that alone didn't help.
Next thing was hard reset *#7370# and surprise, web feeds started to work nicely!
...and then of course reinstall mail configuration, Pixelpipe, Gravity,... Email setup seems to be already routine work and all the contacts and calendar synchronised!

just seriously reformat your phone right after update that sorts things out sometimes better than just firmware alone. i did it this morning what a pain
*#7370# and the default code is always 12345 unless you change it, then only you know what it is. also keep in mind to always take out your memory card if you have any.

The problem of the rss feeds update has not been fixed by the new software update. The phone's browser cannot update the feeds at all
Sadly so, you are right. It's not fixed. I just don't understand how it work perfect with my previous N95 8GB but doesn't with a newer flagship & a newer browser. I believe things must be improved not worsen..

The problem persists even after the last update. I even performed a hard format and the feeds are not working. I can't imagine why it is such a difficult issue to resolve, except if they don't think it is worth finding a solution...
