Hi guys,

 

Am still new to N97, just gotten my phone. Hope you guys can help to answer some queries. Thanks! :smileyhappy:

 

1) If we were to keep the wifi on but set the widgets to offline, will that takes up battery? Or should i de-activate my wifi totally?

 

2) if i were to leave my home while using the wireless lan, when i move to the next hotspot, do i have to manually search from the new wifi connection or is there some settings i can change to have it automatically detected and replaced?

The moment you set your home screen to "ContentToOffline Mode" wifi connection automatically ends. So it won't eat up your battery, until and unless you are browsing some other website using the wifi connection or downloading some content. I hope I have answered your query
