Can someone contribute? i am 14year kid stuck with this phone, i also have this bad habit of using the phone to the max.
What i did after asking many people about the camera slider problem
*CHANGE CAMERA SLIDER : which nokia care center didn't give a **bleep**? about, seriously? **bleep**? i got an email telling me to go to a care center and get a replace. The security gaurd said i'm not allowed in!!! in the end i had to bride him 3usd **bleep**???? but unfortunately i got in just to find an angry person telling me to get out of his sight. whats even funnier is after i showed him my phone he asked me where i stole it, not a realy good question to ask a kid. Lol then the manager came in, said he was listening to all this, (for a second i thought he was gonna help me) but he soo called "confisicated" my phone, and then i was pushed out held by the NECK!! I"M SOO **bleep** MAD. Thankfully my dad came just in time to see me pushed out, i got my phone in the end bt but WHAT THE **bleep** wrong WITH NOKIA CARE CENTER???? i got my dad to file a case on the security for 1. asking for bribes, thankfully recorded it ![]()
2.throwing me out by the neck, child abuse illigal in ur contry
I SWEAR I WILL NEVER EVER USE ANOTHER NOKIA!! THEM AND THEIR **bleep service

huh?!
Was this a Nokia service centre? Which country are you in? I'd certainly escalate this to Nokia themselves as that is, from the sounds of things, unacceptable behaviour.
Did they offer to fix the phone with your father there?
As always, get names.. Never bribe security people, though.. it doesn't help in the long term!! You'd only need to bribe them if you wanted to do something you weren't allowed to.. in this case, going into the shop and asking for a repair job should be fine.. Did you get the $3 back?

Nokia Care centres are not Nokia themselves most of the time, they are contractors. The issue of the security guard being reluctant may simply be your age, in many places where there is high youth crime, retailers restrict access to unaccompanied youths. It is unfortunate that a whole section of society gets tarred with the same brush, but it can be necessary.
Furthermore, if you spoke to the people in the centre the way you wrote this post, that might explain their apparent attitude towards you, manners make man they say. As for the bribe, first you say that you bribed him, then you say the suit is for "asking for bribes", if he didn't specifically ask for money to let you in, where is your case? Furthermore, if the attitude you display in your post matches the attitude you presented in the store, then perhaps it was considered necessary to eject you from the store. There wouldn't have taken the phone from you if they didn't suspect that you might not be its proper owner, so your lesson for the future might be to learn how to make a good impression on society in general...

i live in india i am unsure of the exact place, As always, "get names.. Never bribe security people, though.. it doesn't help in the long term!!" the security said :give me 100bucks (3usd) to get in or no, i tried to bargain 90 80 i wanted it to be atleast 50 bucks but no he wouldn't let me in unless i gave him 100bucks. And i brided him because i wasn't allowed in, i had already told my dad i was going there and asked him to come too, but he got late and i tried to take thingy into my own hand. and No i didn't get to repair my dad yelled at them and we left. for the 3USD i dun rly care cuz the security is in probably in for jail or a heavy fine. I AM SERIOUSLY UPSET WITH THE NOKIA CARE CENTER!! i thankfully recorded a clip when the security asked me for money so that will help my dad sue the security.
Nokia a bunch oF USELESS **bleep** i half new this would happen thats why i asked my dad, Seriously if a 14year old got a N97 u ask him if he stole it? and confisicate if i start to argue? i was also hurt by the throwing out by the neck. WHAT HAS NOKIA GOT TO SAY? i wrote 5+ emails to Nokia reporting the problem and waited for 1day but what happened? no reply how about the "reply within 24hour promise? i am writing this cuz nokia didn't give a **bleep**

**bleep**? Mccbleue even when i was asked if i stole the phone i said plesantly thinking he was joking "sir this is mine, you can talk to my dad if u want"
and i'm a kid ignore my grammer, but you talk like i picked a fight with them.!
also i forgot to mention " I SHOWED HIM THE BILL AND WARENTY, is there still a point in asking weather i stole the phone.
first you say that you bribed him, then you say the suit is for "asking for bribes", ma bad i should have rechecked what i wrote cuz this was done in a hurry.
AND I CAN REASSURE TO YOU THAT I WAS ABSOLUTELY POLITE it was them who kept being rude
Nokia Care centres are not Nokia themselves most of the time, they are contractors. in that case i think this should not be the place to complain srry for my misunderstanding that Nokia care centers are always run by nokia themself. Well next time i will make sure i am going to a Nokia care center "run by nokia." can you please post to me how to identify one.
