Just got my N97 yesterday (am i going to regret it?!) and started to transfer some files (podcasts, pics, music) from my
N95 8gig. I have managed to transfer over 8 songs and then get the message "not enough memory" on the N97.
I can not find anyway to see where filess are being saved or to direct use of either the C or E mass memory, nor can i see how to check the memory useage?
It must be wrong, but how do I put this right?
The only other thing I downloaded was a Euope map from Nokia Maps, so should be plenty space.
Also, I have read on this forum about hard resets - how are they done on the N97?
The firmware is version 11.0.021 out of the box if that helps.
Any help appreciated, by the look of some of these posts I might have made a big mistake choosing the N97 - time will tell I suppose

here are a few things to consider. if you sync via bluetooth then chances are they go to c drive, try using a back up restore option using the nokia pc suite

Sometimes it is a "false alarm" it is a wrong message created when you connect and than disconnect the USB in Mass storge position, change manuallly back the place of saving messages from C to E and the message about not enough memory will disappear.
It did work for me ![]()
