I have ticked away the setting for auto search wireless devices, yet sometimes my phone still searches and dryes my battery.

I don't know what activiates this, I have checke for acitve applications, although it does this even when nothing is running.

I don't know if there is some application that runs without showing up, and activates the search, although I doubt that.

Have you set up any mailaccounts to connect every now and then?

Yes I have on the main screen, although it's deactivated to search for auto emails. And I have the  @ application. I just deactivated synchronize in, out and send, I need to see if it's going to help.
