Thanks for your answer as I did not know that there are various classes of micro sd card. Could you tell me what are the classes of these cards, who is the maker ( I only know one Kingston) and how much would it cost? How do I make out the micro sd card is a class 2 or 4 or 6? I want a micro sd card which support maximum hundreds or thousands of applications maximum. Kindly help me. Nilufer.

I just faced the same problem yesterday especially after installing Ovi maps v3.06 & Nokia Internet Radio on my N97 mini v12. I was unable to open "installed Apps" menu for several times. I tried to restart my phone but with no success of resolving it. Then suddenly, it managed to open once. I removed those two applications & it worked slightly fine because I still feel it's unstable. I do not use a micro SD card. All the applications are installed on the Mass Memory or, if I can't do so, on the "C:" memory of my mobile.
Does anyone know what's the cause of this sudden thing?
Any help please?
Thanks.

I have the same problem with a N97 mini with the latest firmware available to this unit. I also hope that this is known by Nokia and is solvable. I have no doubts that the cause is the number of apps installed, never mind the exact number, which is ridiculous, of course.
On http://europe.nokia.com/support/download-software/
Meanwhile, since I still can install apps (the problem lies in the uninstallation), I searched for alternative uninstall programs for S60 5th ed. I founf two apps: Batch Uninstaller and Uninstall King. Both are fine. I'm not sure if the frst needs to be signed, the second definetely needs. For me, this was an extremely cumbersome process that included processing by a Chinese server...
Nokia, please solve this or at least, document it! This is crippling.

12.0.110 will not solve the problem. That's what I have.
Uninstallation is not the main point. 3rd party uninstallers do work. The main problem is, that I can't access the options for an installed package.

I have found a simple solution for this problem ![]()
Just connect ur cell to your PC n mass storage mode. This will disable most of the installed applications. Now go to the settings n then the application manager n U will be able to see the list of applications n now u can uninstall them. ![]()

Without opening the application manager also, you can delete or uninstall application from the menu itself. Just go to the menu where the application you want to remove and press option. Select organise and tap on which app you want to remove and it will be removed from there. Ok. This method is the easier one. ![]()
