has anyone managed to copy and paste when editing the text with N95?

there's more than one way to copy and paste with the N97.

the simplest is probably just to drag your finger over some text to highlight it. then a button appears with 'copy' written on it.

you paste from the menu.

I have tried it; highlighting with a finger works well but nothing appears (no dialog box).

Unfortunately I think that copy and paste isn't implemented property on many apps for the N97 for its keyboard.

The most reliable way is to close they keyboard, when the keypad or handwriting interface appears, click on the icon with the three horizontal lines, cut/copy/paste is always there.

If you've highlighted anything prior to switching, the highlights stay selected.
