Hi
My N97 died. Power button was faulty then sent back to be repaired and I was advised it had Moisture damage so warranty is void.
My questions is can the internal storage or hard drive be removed and hooked up to a PC so I can recoved my data?
regards
John

Unfortunately not.

This happened to me within three months of getting fone. Vodafone said moisture damage was not covered by warranty and they still refused to fix it after I offered to pay for it! They said that moisture damage can take several months to become apparent, so my argument is, how do I know it was not moisture damaged when I received the handset?

Did it come in a box? Mine came in a box with tamper-proof security tape presumably from factory. Inside, the phone itself was in a plastic bag held closed by yet another security seal. Only way moisture could get on the phone would be if the Chinaman who made it got mad and sprinkled kidney juice... ![]()
