i have already made a post about this but i want to be ABSOLUTALY Sure, after my previous encounter with a Care Center "not run by nokia" i would have given up but my camera is rly rly rly badly scratched and the lens is soo damaged i get lots of lines all over my pictures.

I am in a situvation where i must go to a care center and get a new lens, this time i have searched well, the Care Center i will go to is "run by nokia" and i'm expecting some genuine quality customer service. What my issue is will nokia replace the camera lens + slider? i'm not sure i have a warenty( and no intensions of asking my dad).

So here is the question : Will Nokia replace camera lens or slider? Will i need a warenty? I am willing to pay if i cannot find a warenty but will Nokia acsept my payments? Have anyone got thier camera of N97 replaced?

Note : If your going to write "you can only find out by calling your care center" don't bother posting. Mainly because i don't want to call carecenter for many reasons.

Nokia Care Center will definitely be able to replace the camera window/slider (it's not the lens itself). You will almost certainly need a warranty for it to be done FOC (and assuming the scratches/damages are due to the slider mechanism problem and not other own damage). You can also probably pay for the repair if it is not covered under warranty, or if you are unable to produce your warranty documentation.

Thanks for your kind words. I happen to know about this because I changed my N97 camera window/slider before, and previously when I had a N95 8GB, I replaced its camera window too. All at Nokia Care Centre in Singapore.
