Hi,
I am currently using a Nokia N97 RM-505.My sister has a E66.Whenever i try and send a music file from her phone to mine via bluetooth, the phone gives me an error......Not enough memory.Delete some data first.
I have 24GB free on mass memory and 10MB free on phone memory but still its giving me an error.I was previously running v11 but updated to v12 last night and still no improvement.
Please help.
Thanks,
Akshay

I appreciate that you say the message tells you to delete some data first. This does imply, as you've tried to do, that there is insufficient data storage someplace. The data storage is usually thought of as living on a "permanent" storage device, like a hard disk, memory chip etc. I say this to distinguish it from "program storage". Running programs are stored "temporarily" on RAM, not rom, or a hard storage device, like the C Drive, E Drive, F Drive etc.
Often, on the N97, when you try to install a program, you will get the message "Not enough memory to install, do you want to close some programs?" (or similar).
So it's also worth looking at the programs running in memory RAM, as you seem to have all the other storage devices covered. If you want to check how much RAM is being used, and free, I recommend getting hold of Best Taskman from the Ovi Store. It's an eye opener to see what's running in the background, taking up valuable RAM. Just as on a PC, you just can't get enough RAM, to run programs quickly.
Have a go anyway. Best Task Manager only costs £1.50 GBP to buy, and is truly useful. The other APP I recommend is X-Plore, from Lonely Cat Games http://www.lonelycatgames.com/?app=xplore . It's an excellent file Manager. With both of these Apps, you can really get to know what's going on in your phone.

When you receive any music file through bluetooth, by default it is received as a message in messaging folder. To save this file in Music folder one has to play and Save it to the Mass memory/Music Folder. Is there any other way that files received via bluetooth are not saved in Messages but in Music folder.
Sure. Use the normal file transfer bluetooth function.
But if you send the files with object push, then you cannot select where they arrive.
