Another exmaple of a problem with lack of transparency and communication from Nokia: What is the status of iSync for the N97. Is there a general problem preventing the N97 from being connected with iSYnc on the MAC? Or was there a problem which is now fixed in V20? Is Nokia working on this feature or not? Can we expect anything to happen, or should we just forget about it?

This is for some a very important issue, and the total non-communication is hard to understand.

Do anyone on this forum know anything about this? Or have found some way to do this?

iSync is available at nokia.com/isync. I bought another edition but I saw it at Nokia and got it. It works fine.

Yay! Support for iSync has arrived. It do say that you need V20 on your N97, so I guess that sortof implies that there was some problem before, and it has been fixed now.

Wonderful! Now, if only the Swedish Nokia site would have said this, I wouldn't have posted, but looking at iSync from there, the N97 is still not listed as supported by iSync.

But I guess Nokia is not going to tell us anything, so this forum is really the only way of finding out important information, even when you would think that Nokia would be the natural place to go to get information.

Nokia really have an information problem, and they seem to be totally unaware of how bad they are at communicaiton (which is funny, considering that they are a company that works with communication).

perhabs someone can help me. 

I try to sync over isync my N97. All seems to be fine, but after connecting, i receive an error messagr that says, the the connect suddenly is canceld. 

I try to sync over bluetooth.

Have you paired the devices properly? Check by trying to browse files on the N97 for example.

Hmm. Sorry, no. I assume you do have V20 firmware on your phone?

For me, it just worked.

yes v20, multimedia transfer works also fine. What version of isync do you have.

solved, i have done softreset and after this no more problem.

Sorry, but I still have this problem. I have 21.0.045 fimware and iSync 3.1.1(586.0). I also downloaded the pluggin.  I'm trying to connect using bluetooth and the connection is suddenly lost.

Any ideas?
