Just bought new n97 yesterday, and moved my addressbook, finally 5060 names to the new machine.

And now, the addressbook informs, that the memory is full. So, I CANNOT call or search for names. Made right now:

- the n97 has been restarted about 10 times.

- the software has been updated 2 times (was already the newest)

- the addressbook has been emptied and the uploading made again.

Still the same problem exists. In the store they gave me option to get the phone to service. I do not believe, that it will help. So what to do?

Is this just a joke? (I have bought to our company about 80 nokias in recent years)

You have backed up your contacts, messages etc?

Perform a soft reset. Diall *#7370# and sec.code 12345. This will delete everything on the phonememory and perhaps solve your memoryissues. Anyway - This is a totally new device, so I would go straight back to the shop and swap it for another one. - If you have the time - you could do the soft reset and see if it helps...
