Hey all,

I've had my phone for a few weeks now, but noticed that the speaker is substantially quieter comapred to other phones.

From what I've gatheerd, people can hear me perfectly on the other end, but I have a hell of a time trying to hear what they say, the output volume is just so low.

If I'm in a quiet room, then I can hear pretty well, but if there are any noise in the background, i.e. If I'm out anywhere in the streets etc, I can barely hear at all.

Would this be a hardware problem?  Anyone else have similar issues?

Have you turned up the volume using the button on the side?

I know is sounds obvious but you might have missed it!

Yes, I have. Should of probably mentioned that in the first post

I don't think it's anything to do with the settings. i've gone over them again and again.

I have the same problem. I think the first few months the volume was fine, but somehow at somepoint it dramatically reduced.

Perhaps the updated firmware (which is not available to me yet - I'm in Holland-) will fix things??

Read somewhere that firmware V2.0 addresses this issue.
