Few irritating things I have found with the N97 that the N95 8gb could do!!!
I can not edit the label of a contact, i.e putting in "personal" mobile. Small but irritating, esp. after I'd synced the N97 with my N95 8gb but found it had put all mobile contact's down as "Business".
I NEVER use the Qwerty keyboard (like the idea but just don't use it - yet) and find it very frustrating that when browsing the web I can not turn the phone and browse in landscape something a software update solved for the N95 8gb. Even before the update you could go in to options and rotate the screen something the N97 doesn't! Why would I want to walk around with the screen tilted up, it makes it harder to touch the screen, balance in hand holding bag getting knocked by rush hour commuters!
Getting used to the touch screen but having use of an iphone get irritated with the double click and just feels stiffer when trying to navigate, as in you have to be more positive with your touch which then means you go in to the app instead of scrolling up and down the screen, but as said getting the hang of it.
Having troubles with the wap, it won't work and the internet works, then doesn't, then does etc but I'm thinking this is a network problem than a Mobile problem.

You can enable accelerometer based rotation of the screen (so when you tilt the phone it changes to landscape without needing to pop out the qwerty keyboard).
It's under Settings\Phone\Sensor settings\Turning control\Auto rotate display

Yes i have the same problem with edit label in N97. while in N95 8GB i can give any name to any phone number specially when i have many mobiles number under one person. We have to ask Nokia to solve this problem... The only and irritating solution is to create as much contacts i have for only one person!

It is obvious that Nokia is trying to copy Apple's iPhone marketing strategy.
By going "retro" with features (i.e. editing of phone labels in the Contacts database), they then can provide these features some time in the future with a lot of public fanfare and call it an upgrade.
After it seemed to work with the iPhone and the copy/cut/paste feature, right?
