Re: N97 NAM with crash issues... Use your 7 Day distance selling cover

Actually I dont regret the pre or sprint at all. I feel especially after owning the Pre its totally out of the box and quite innovative.

As far as my N97 complaints if you will they are not just firmware and some are very real world. Video calling, FM Transmitting, but especially the video calling... please tell me you have used that here in the US.

I don't think AT&T supports video calling in the US,  Since the iPhone can't do it I don't think they turned it on. I could never get my N95 to do it, yet all my friends have iPhones :-(  It just tells me call can not be completed.

Who says I am upset. :smileyhappy:  I rather enjoyed your sarcasm thus far it has given me a few chuckles.  However,  I know you were upset and prob will be for the next 10 years given such a awful customer service experience you had with Nokia, but it isn't my fault or anyone else's fault that you have a lack of patience, it also is not anyone else's fault that you bought the phone first.   For your information every single technology and software that is released today has problems in some shape or form some worst than others... if you haven't got that by now being a buyer of technologies you should let someone else do your buying for you.  :smileyhappy:

Re: N97 NAM with crash issues... Anyone else?

HI,

I am also facing the same issue, this mainly happens when I am using the wireless or gprs service.

Turns off sometimes, sometimes it restarts and sometimes show a very thin vertical line in red color and then restarts or shuts down.

Please help me if anyone facing a similar issue and has some solution.

Thanks in Advance.

Only other option is t-mobile, they aren't known for their coverage especially here in California.

Re: N97 NAM with crash issues... Anyone else?

I have the exact same problems - on my E90.

Started a month ago. I have performed 2x soft reset. Hard reset (*#7370#), format of microSDHC, removal of microSDHC, run clean (no apps, no contacts, no bookmarks, no calendar entries - & no microSDHC) -- and still it shuts down. White screen shows, followed by Nokia Logo, then off.

Tried keeping bluetooth on because someone said they tried that on their E72. This thing has gone off several times already today. Battery maybe?
