N97 Mistery of dual flashLED

Hi guys, i just bought my new nokia N97 white. I found a problem with the flash led. So i want to know whether its just me, or all the N97 in the world (Fatal Design Problem). Check out the photo in the attachment.

The problem are, when i use my expensive phone in low light room, the light from flash led is actually reflected by the camera cover slider's wall, creating a bright area in the photo. Since the flash led is on the left side of the lens(from viewfinder point of view), the picture will have some bright area at left. When i take picture with upsidedown position, the picture will have some bright area at right. So, is there any suggestion to avoid that bright area.

ok LED has rather poor performance in low light conditions however i just took these pics one is with the light on the other is with light off.

you can see the difference but the image is actually good. try cleaning your lense also looks like there is some particles on it.

Hey its nice picture with funny fat cat. Thanks radical24. Yesterday i've clean some fingerprint on the lens. The pic is better, but still have problem with the flash. I think nokia made a wrong design by putting the flashLED inside the camera cover. Anyway, since its a permanent design, whatelse we can do but accept it. Hopefully nokia learn from this phone and have a better design in the future.

@radical24:

Hey, your tortoiseshell and white cat looks just like my Mollie!

@ddkcorp:

It looks like there's internal leakage of light between your flash and the lens. This is not normal. It did not occur on any of the phones I've owned or just used, including the N97 I had here for a while. There is a fault in your phone - this isn't a design flaw - and it needs to be addressed by Nokia Care.

Re: N97 Mistery of dual flashLED

Yesterday i clean the camera lens again and also the flashLED. I see when there is nothing infront of them, not even a single small fingerprint. the picture is perfect and there is no bright area or FlashLED light bleed. So i think the problem is the dirt in the lens. Thanks for all.
