Sure it's a bit smoother, i don't care, i just want the software that comes with the phone to work! And yes, even after a firmware update that is supposed to improve the state of the phone if i'm not mistaken. Maybe it's all backwards over at Nokia ? Since the built-in e-mail client worked quite well before i updated the firmware, and i was all the way back at v12.

The issue here is, i get to the wizard where i enter my e-mail address and password and when that is done i'd like to enter settings and this is where the whole thing stalls. Nothing happens. I even tried to have a semi-manual/wizard setup with using a fake @mail.com to be able to choose from imap or pop3 - not even this gave anything!

Anyone else experiencing this or similar to this and might even have a solution - and a solution would be great!

Try more :-))

Wizard needs network connection to finish the job and if something fails wizard never ends properly.

I had the same trouble one day, and the next day everything passed fine.

Of course, as you know, after wizard you should check your e-mail settings, especially pop3 and smtp servers.

The problem is just that - i can't check my e-mail settings after the e-mail info has been entered in the wizard, the settings never appear. I've tried to reboot it but still, i cannot access the e-mail settings

I have the same problem after a software update.

The software is 21.0.045.

I cannot change the e-mail settings and I cannot connect to the e-mail server.

Do I need to downgrade the software?

Try deleting mailbox then set up again using correct email and password, once set up you can manually  re-configure your settings !
