Will N97 ever have the same Call History as WM phones? unlimited call history with detailed time and date, duration of call, incoming, outcoming, missed? I am sure it would drive more people to switch from WM devices to Nokia. I love Nokia but got used to WM for the last 4 years( create note while talking so you can find this note later just by looking in call history, find the right phone # which was made 3-4 months ago, tasks on the screen and appointments with the reminder) Is there are any third party who provide this programs for S60 or it can be available from NOkia support later? Thank to all who is knowlegable on this questions as I am deciding to join Nokia club if this functions will be available on N97.

The call log on S60v5 is limited to 30 days.

I just found that I can buy the complete call log programm for$20.. wonder if people are cracking this kind of programs or have them somwhere for for $2-3 not $20.

Given the likelihood that a cracked version at a cut price is stuffed with malware, what interest would you have in installing it? I'd much rather pay the full $20 (not a huge amount of money) and at least be sure that I'm not immediately infecting my device with all the implications that has for lost data, wasted time etc. And that's quite apart from the unethical nature of installing cracked warez.

I agree, spend $600 and save penny on an app..no..  Any idea on future N97? Are there are any news about nokia in 2010? I assume Nokia should come up with newer version of 97, let's say, take all reviews from 97 and put better version year later> Your thoughts on this?

I am having the same issue on 5800 XM. Where did you find that the call log is really limited to 20 calls and that you need to buy SW to solve it?

Call log blows no question - my biggest beef is what number called me (as a contact can have many numbers) - i find myself going into edit > use number to figure out what the number was that called - and I really should not have to do that.

You would think at the CORE of a PHONE would be a decent call log!
