Hei,
Maybe this is a known fact for the others, but I have noticed that the license of Adobe starts every time you reformat the device from the beginning (or at least gives 15 days more).
So I have had the phone since beginning on July and been able to use Adobe all the time. This also means that the phone has been reformatted at least every two weeks. This week I got a little worried because just two days of license was available and almost bought the license. But synchronization with Lotus Notes forced me again to reformat the phone. Last time it was Maps.
Hope that fw 2.0 really solves these issues, because if they still exist I will no longer be available for Nokia to be the beta test user especially for the price of 729e.
But until that lets enjoy the extended license of Adobe ![]()

Adobe reader should have been free like it was on previous models, this is just another underhanded way of Nokia cutting costs on one of its most expensive models, i noticed it straight away and was on to Nokia and 3 asking for an activation code, but they will not give them out despite listing viewing of PDF mail attachments as a feature of this handset, It is hardly a feature if it only lasts 15 days and then requires you to pay.
Most apps supplied on the N97 are Demos.
What next demo of camera, phones supplied with 10 picture license then pay as you click?
The word tight **bleep** (be this gets edited) comes to mind when looking over the Apps Nokia supplied on the handset.

You are one optimistic guy
In theory optimists are right as often as pessimists, but for optimists the life can be bit easier. That’s why I try to be optimist rather than of being pessimist.
Also with N97![]()

Finally the cost deployed for getting ver 2 and other updates will have to be recovered, my friend.
Nokia is a for profit company & not a charitable institution. There are no free lunches anywhere anyways.
Like me dont be surprised whenif Nokia asks for a few 100 $ to keep an overhaul firmware running on the phone. and why wait for the next phone release? They know that the bunch of current n97 owners are good beta testers Nokia Cares (for its money) and maybe pay per click will be an inbuilt feature for the new firmware which you very well would pay or keep using the instable & crashing older version.
