N95 v12 firmware - reboots

Hi,

Picked up an N95-1 last wednesday. I am fairly pleased with the phone...but one snag has come to my attention...I have personally seen the phone reboot itself twice in the last five days, whilst it has been sat on my desk in front of me. I had been using the phone for SMSing at least once shortly before it rebooted. It wasn't a full reboot as you don't get the Nokia Hand Shake screen and sound, just the Nokia logo then eventually back to the main screen. I'm beginning to wonder how many other times it has done this.

I'm on O2 UK, so I am going to try and request a new sim card. Is there any 'event logging' type software available for Symbian? I'd like to know if there is a way I can track unexpected reboots like this.

I can live with the odd reboot, but if it starts quiting on me whilst making or receiving a call then I'll be reconsidering this phone, as a phone should be reliable first and foremost.

Oh and ain't the V12 FW 'missed key stroke bug' so annoying?!

Cheers

Ok I've thought about it (I can think? Wow!) and I'm on a plan. I've started an app, calculator say and have left it running in the background. Presumably if the phone reboots it will no longer be running, so after x period of time, over night say, I can check to see if calc is still running. At least I can get a handle on it.
