N95- THE WORLDS BEST PHONE . READ WHY,,,,,,,,,,,?

[ Edited ]
I just bought a Nokia N95.
No sooner I faced these problems.
1. Battery never gets charged fully n shows charging .............for ever.

2. While typing numbers ,the display changes colours and then the dispaly hangs up.

3. The key pad then becomes useless and of no use.

4. the phone suddenly and slowly gets switched off .

5.the phone boots by itself but cannot retain its UI.

6.the dispaly gets dead but the phone vibrates on calling my number from another cell.

7.The phone is restarted manually by me and since then ....
the display light never glows and is gone for ever ..even though restarted multiple times.

8.I go to Nokia Care and give it for repair and no results.

NOKIA N95 SUCKS.HORRIBLE BAD PRODUCT RELEASED TO MARKET BY
NOKIA WITHOUT PROPER TESTING DONE.NOKIA JUST FOOLS CUSTOMERS BY TAKING HUGE MONEY AND CHEATS INNOCENT CUSTOMERS.

NOKIA LOOSES ALL MARKER REPUTATION.

Re: NOKIA CHEATS CUSTOMERS IN INDIA

Try taking it to a different care centre, some are more helpful than others. Care centres are generally independant retailers who act on nokia's behalf. If a care centre hasn't or refuses to solve your problem then you should report them to nokia.

You could send your phone in to nokia for repair if you can't find another care centre.

Just changing the heading of your post doesn't change the tone of the complaint. If you feel this way, demand a refund and get a different phone. Or, as already mentioned go to a different care centre.

I have to agree, the N95 is rubbish. I ordered one for me and my son. I returned mine after 6 days with most of the mentioned problems and several more. When i returned it, the retailer said that more than 50% that he had supplied had been returned within 7 days to the point where they were going to suspend supply. My sons now has similar problems however as it is more than 7 days old we cant return it ! Role on the Sony Ericsson P1i.
Btw the fact that you can now buy refurbished N95's from O2 probably proves the point that vast numbers have been returned, and will Nokia acknowledge this or announce a fix ? i think not.

@sunnylovesalman,

Dude, I have explained this to you time and time and time again but you do not seem to get it. You have a bad phone. Many to most of the people in this forum that have the N95 are fairly happy to extremely pleased with it. Your continued, "Nokia Sucks" post make you look more and more silly and you are taken less serious. People, I could be incorrect here, are no longer interested in trying to help you but are here now to defend Nokia against your rants. You have brought this upon yourself. You are now a forum Troll where all you do is complain time and time again. I am sorry that you live in a country that is KNOWN for ripping people off and for providing bad service. Maybe Nokia would be smart to not sell in India until the country becomes more advanced. Maybe this is an idea. Your posts are of little value and offer nothing new.

Ditto

At the end of the day he does indeed live in a country KNOWN to rip people off, the sales people don't give a damn about what happens to the handset once they have sold it to you, if it goes wrong at there is the slightest chance it's going to cost them time/money to fix it they aint going to be interested!

I've got an N95 and had is since the first day of availability in the UK and I'm still running the original firwmare and I've never had a single problem and I'm sure many others will say the same thing, my only gripe with the N95 is the GPS, I recently booked a hotel in Latvia and when I searched the map of Latvia I have instaled on the memory card for the address of the hotel, no matter how many ways I enter the address and postcode combination it always shows an error of "no results found" I had the same problem last time I booked a hotel in Latvia, yet when I zoom into the map of riga the streets are indeed there so I can't understant why I get the "no results" message any ideas anyone?

Hey all,

I have to agree, I've had mine for 2 months now, and am very happy with it. Perhaps the one that sunnylovesalman got wasn't a good one.

I sympathise, but its not going to get you anywhere by going on and on here mate.
Go to Nokia direct.

Cheers :smileyhappy:

Hi,

even i have faced 3-4 major issues in only a week's time afta I bought nN95.. I really doubt the quality of these products after my this experience... I had a good image of Nokia before this but now I am really skeptical of purchasing costly models as there's no assurance that they will last long.. I mean this can't be acceptable if you open your New N95 box and find the next day that very simple things like a headset is not working at all..

Re: N95- THE WORLDS BEST PHONE . READ WHY,,,,,,,,,,,?

i got my N95 pretty much on vodafone uk's release day....
and sure it had some teething issues....slow gps..awful battery life....the same old issues most people encountered with theirs....
but with the latest firmware..and witha bit of battery care the phone has gone from strength to strength...
we are now at that border line between phone and computer...and to be honest i think its a tough border to cross....anyone with knowledge of PDA use will know that portable computer systems can be a real pain in the rear end...and at the end of the day the N95 is considered a "ground breaking" phone concept device....
the more the line between "out of the box phone" and pocket computers becomes blurred the more problems we will encounter as end users......with greater technology usually comes greater problems...at least until that technology has been on the market for a few months or so....
the N95 has had that time now..and with each new firmware it really does get better and better....
sadly its a case of a bad apple spoiling the barrel! a few dudd phones hitting the market place will cause a backlash of angst and griping....and in todays society of "knee jerk" freedom of speach that the glorious internet allows us, we will always encounter those bad apples alot faster than before! LOL
im sorry about your phone....but it really is a case of a duff handset...it happens...with every electronic device it happens.....

Re: N95- THE WORLDS BEST PHONE . READ WHY,,,,,,,,,,,?

I bought my Nokia N 95 tree months ago in Serbia I paid 950 + euros for it so it was rely expensive. So why I paid my phone that much, because I got the phone that has never had problems (battery life is a huge problem, but that’s completely another story)! Phone wasn’t bought directly from Nokia but it’s bought in retailer which import phones made for Asian market, supported languages are Indonesian and Pilipino. NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS! GPS little slow but perfect navigation!
