First some background: I have been in the cell Biz almost 20 years, the majority of that primarily selling Nokia phones; sarting with the 2120 so long ago. In fact, most in my area call me "Mr. Nokia".
My primary phone is still an N95(Although I've been thinking about the N8 lately) which I still consider one of the best Nokias ever made. I love the fact that Nokia was still putting out SW updates as late as last year. But what I cannot understand, and find indefensable, is this ongoing problem with connecting it to your PC. The problem was originally sporadic and pc specific. My office PC with Windows XP, now has to be connected and reconnected 5-10 times before the little icon on the phone screen; 1. lights up 2. stays lit. Sometimes I have to change usb cords numerous times, sometimes the same one over and over again until the connection is made. I know this has been a known problem for years, and have had several customers whom bought N95s from me complain.
I just bought a new PC with Windows Vista, downloaded the lastes Nokia Suite SW, and it will not recognize my phone. I have tried everything. I highly doubt its my PC, or the Nokia Suite SW. I'm pretty sure its a bug in the phones software because nothing will work until the connection Icon comes on the phone and everthing stops working as soon as the icon disappears off the phone.
This is totally frustrating. I cannot believe Nokia has let this go with out a fix. I love your well built, durable, and great reception phones, but come on man!
