Hi All

I have a N95 8gB where I have set up a mailbox to access my Gmail. I have set it up as described in the official Gmail instruction see below link

This works fine when I am updating the mailbox over WLAN, however if I choose the access point to be 3G or GSM the logon just enters an endless loop and finally stops with a timeout failure. Anybody else having this problem,

I have also downloaded the app from Gmail and this works fine but i would prefer to use the mailbox of the phone.

Any help would be much appreciated

Ask your operator. It could be that they're restricting access to certain TCP ports. You wouldn't be subject to that restriction when using WiFi with your own WAP.

Thanks for the hint it helped.

I established a new access point for GPRS Email from my service providers homepage and it worked.
