I am having problem with my new N95 8gb. When I try to use the Bluetooth (A2DP) to listen to music through my Car Stereo (JVC KD-BT1) the phone just hangs and reboots. I can register the phone but after 3-4 seconds it looses the connection and after about 5 seconds it connects again, and the phone "White screens" and reboots. I am thinking that this is a problem with my phone, but I thought I would just hear if anyone else has problem with their N95 8Gb or if it is just me.
No, I have tried to reset the phone. No difference. I have also updated with the latest firmware, but that didnt work either. The strange thing is that it works with my computer. I can sync the phone with no problems so this problem is just the music streaming. I have tried the car stereo with another phone (Not N95) and that worked perfectly.
your phone has the problem with the bluetooth A2D profile. most of the other profiles are working fine but i think your phone is failing to synchronize with the car stereo with the help of A2DP. If u have already updated the firmware and no better results then I'd advise u to take it back to ur phone provider to have it checked. I have N95 8GB and it works fine with the motorola HT820
Hi, I've got a E50, and also a JVC KD-BT1, i'll try if i can stream music to this radio and tell you.
My only problem with this Phone - Radio combination is that i can't do a redial (last numbers) from my Radio, and the Phone "Phonebook" is not synchronized with the radio. With my old Sony-Ericsson, the Phone book was synchronized with the Radio every time the Phone got a bluetooth connection.
I sent in my phone to be fixed and they actually said it could not be repaired so they are going to replace my phone. So obviously there was something really wrong with the phone. But thanx anyway
I have had this problem with the JVC BT-200 unit and both the N95 and the N95 8GB. It works well with other Nokia phones and the Phones all work well with all other Bluetooth devices. I also have the problem of the continual shut down of the phone.. both n95s. JVC says that there is a compatibility issue and have not released any new patches or new version of the BT unit.
The trick I have found is to make sure there is an active call on when the jvc tries to connect... the unit pair and stayed connected even after the initial call is finished... problem is that you need to do this each time you get in the car.. phonebook does not come across, or sms. the transfer application works but I find it decreases the stability of the pairing.
