I don't think there are too many iPhlop fans on here however, the problem with all "which is better, x or y" posts is that this is always down to what YOU want to use the phone for.
In this case, the iPhlop, though still prone to hanging and bugs, is probably more stable than the N95 8GB. It has the wonderful interface, looks a lot better and has huge street cred among the techno-ignoranti.
On the other hand, while the N95 8GB doesn't have the interface, it does actually do pretty much everything the iPhlop does - some a lot better (5MP stills with flash .. of sorts) - and it does some things the iPhlop doesn't do (and isn't likely to for quite a few versions to come), like 3G, video capture, GPS, 3rd party apps, Outlook integration etc etc.
One thing to note when you're reading reviews: the media is awash with Apple fans, media being about the only workplace a Mac does everything you need (ie: word processing, pictures and video). Apple fans find it almost impossible to rate non-Apple products better than Apple, even after an article listing dozens of ways in which the non-Apple product is clearly superior.
