just got my n91, it was reseting on it's own, and i updated version to 2.00.052, and now it's even worse, takes almost 3-4 minutes when sending a txt msg or pulling up gallery etc.. please help

Maybe You have a Hardware problem and not a software problem. Go to a Nokia Service.

i'm in united states, and my phone version is from europe, and i tried contacting usa nokia support, they "can't" help me since it's not usa version.. and phone worked fine, except reseting itself before an update, as soon as i updated firmware, it's getting progressively worse every day

Hey.. It seems like your phone was not properly upgraded. Here follow these steps:

1. Back up all your data.
2. Format your HDD
3. Now update your phone again using the latest updater (V1.1.30)
4. Now before you put back your data install the sms accelerator from http://www.europe.nokia.com/A4158100
5. Now put back all your data.

It should work fine now.

MAYBE U WANNA TRY INSTALLING THE SMS ACCELERATOR FIRST AND SEE IF IT SOLVES YOUR PROBLEM.

And also.. keep an eye on the higher firmware upgrade 2.10.xxx version..

Its available now mostly in all countries.

hey thanks for the reply.. i actually did 3, *, green, while still switching phone on and it formatted my phone (not hdd) and now it works fine (note: didn't format firmware, it's still 2.00xxx), works flawlessly so far

FYI folks.. you probably want to format the phone after a firmware update

Not Really drazoyu,

Firmware update formats the phone, you must use the 3 button technique only in worst case, it is like formatting a PC with WinXP using dos prompt.

YOU MUST NOT FORMAT THE PHONE AGAIN AFTER THE FIRMWARE UPGRADE. YOU CAN, THOUGH FORMAT THE HDD.

In any case, I am glad that your phone is working fine now.

I would, however, recommend that you keep an eye for the 2.10.xxx version.. it really has put a lot of problems to their places.

Try installing the sms accel from http://www.europe.nokia.com/A4158100

This should solve your problem

Also, seeing you are still running the 2.00 version, no harm is using the software updater from http://www.nokia.co.uk/nokia/0,1522,,00.html?orig=/softwareupdate

and updating your phone to the latest version

Hey guyz, I have been using it since July 7,2006.My SW was 1.10.xx but I faced no problems with sending messages although it hangs a lot.Now my SW is 2.10.xx and I am still having no problem with sending messages.Thanks GOD for being lucky not to have such problem.
