N900

Hi All I am new to these forums but thought that I would add my 2 bits worth, now don't get me wrong I love Nokia Phones and products and have owned one all my life and although I have had a recent set back with Nokia service I will continue to purchase them.

I had a N900 which was not that old and I received as a present from my first born (So was quite special to me) when I was disconnecting the wall charger the USB port came out of the phone as well. So I thought that it was still under warranty and took it back to the Nokia Care centre whom kindly informed me that the  "Handset shows evidence of excessive physical trauma" which aparently rendered my handset unrepairable.

Al I can tell you is that this handset had little use and if unplugging it from the wall charger can damage the phone so significantly that it is then usless I am affraid that I would not recommend it to anyone.

So now I have not only had to buy a new handset but the one I did have is only good for landfill and my 3 year old son whom went shopping with mum to buy me a "really cool" present has had to watch it be thrown in the bin.

Anyway sorry for the long story but just wanted to get it off my chest.

P.S The handset still worked fine apart from not being able to charge it.

Please use plain text.
