N900 and mms and vertical mode

In many tecnology forums around the web it is said that N900 will NOT support Mms.....is that true?

 

They also say n900 will be used mainly in landscape mode, so we will be obbliged to use it with BOTH hands.

is that also true?

  • Support for email attachments
  • Support for rich HTML
  • SMS and Instant Messages as conversations
  • Support for Nokia Messaging service
  • Instant messaging and presence enhanced contacts
  • Multiple number, email and Instant Messaging details per contact, contacts with images
  • Support for assigning images to contacts
 
judging from this , it is possible that there are no support for mms

The N900 is first an Mobile Internet Device and upgraded (compared with the N810) to have a built-in 3G radio with voice capabilities.

 

As it is an MID and not a "phone" and together all the current previews, does point that it will be mainly a landscape, two-handed device. Think pocket-sized netbook.

 

If you've played with an N810, you will know what I'm saying.

 

One thing to remember though is that since it is running a flavor of Linux (Maemo), 3rd-party developers could come out with apps that will make it more of a phone.
