my question is simple,

1st:what kind of activity, applicayion, and program in phone will decrease the phone memory?

2nd:will gaming decrease the phone memory? i bought 5 N-gage games~sudoku, sim2, sim3, creature in deep, poker

 3rd: how to make my phone memory stop decreasing? As my phone memory decrease every day from 44.9 to 44.8,44.7,44.6....until now already 40.1

ps: i always delete the msg i receive, empty the cache and so on

The simple answer is ALL apps/games consume memory. After closing them they should unload from memory, but this is not always the case. Like you, I also start with 64MB free (upon restart), and it slowly goes down to some 53-54MB so I need to restart again to  go back to 64MB.

That's the way it works, similar like PC memory.

As for the exact memory consumption per each app, you can install Jbak Taskman (free) and monitor this.

EDIT: just noticed you talk about Phone memory not RAM. Sorry for the above confusion. Again, ALL apps/games leave some traces in phone memory even if installed on memory card/mass memory. That's the way they work on Symbian. I also have same experience like you mentioned. To see full content of your phone memory you can install X-plore (free) and browse your C: drive folders. You should delete browser cache, Opera Mini cache, that should free up some space for you, but in general, the more apps/games you install you'll have less free space on C: drive, even installed on memory card. I know, stupid, but that's the way it is.

restart: switch your phone OFF/ON

Upon phone restart, you'll have about 60+ MB memory free (RAM) that will gradually go down to some 50-52MB, however this is more than enough for "normal" work of non-TS phone.

1. Phone memory decreases by installing applications and having a lot of files ,in general on the memory card /mass memory.

2. Any application , if run takes up a wee bit amount of phone memory (be it for storing licences,settings or other user data) .

Over time stored data grows. 

3.Sadly, this is an inherent problem of the Symbian OS. Compared to Windows/linux, the Symbian Series 60 is relatively 

immature OS and hence these problems crop up time & again.

Solution to this is periodically FORMATTING(Hard reset to factory settings) phone memoryonce in a while depending upon

usage.
