N86 new message alert icon

My N86 is showing new message alert icon ever since i bought it.. I've deleted all the messages and even then the new message alret icon keeps blinking.. Its annoying.. Anyone else has same prob?

Sounds like messages on SIM card, go to Messaging>Options>SIM messages and delete them.
