Hi, I'm having a problem with the inner camera shutter on my N86. When I open the outer shutter, the camera software starts but the inner mechanical shutter doesn't open. I can even take a picture of the inside of it!
Does anyone else have this problem and does anyone know a way round it? Thanks

I have the same problem - did you sort it out? This is a great phone, but the stuck shutter is VERY annoying because I need to use the camera daily for work evidence pictures. It started to happen about 2 months after purchase - I have a 24 month contract with O2. Phone will still be under warranty so maybe I should send back - but it sounds like the problem will just begin again???

I also have this problem.
It's a strange one and annoying too.
What I have found is that if you open the lens cover and the camera function activates, but the shutter does not, activate the video function from the onscreen menu, then back to stills mode and it opens! Failing that, shut lens cover, close camera app and start again.
I have not tried a hard reset. It does not seem like a software issue, I could be wrong, but a sticky shutter?
Also, does anyone else have the issue where the gps does not automatically turn itself off after geo tagging when you finally get to take a picture. Then the next thing you know, your battery is flat!!!
