My N86 have a really strange problem, the photo album opens in landscape mode when I lay down the phone on the table. The accelerometer is deactivated.
Anyone else who have this problem?

Okey, but do you mean that your phone just changing from portrait to landscape? or also start/open the photo album?
Anyway I took the battery out & in and now the problem seems to be gone ![]()

Then I think you misunderstand me, we have not the same problem.
I wrote before that the problem disappeared after battery restart, but it came back after around 30min ![]()
Have anyone experienced this problem and solved it by reinstall symbian?

Nothing happends when I rotate the phone, it is when I lay down the phone on a table or anything else with a hard surface that the problem appears.
It is the impact that cause the problem.

I think the problem should be able to solve without changing software.

There's an option to make the phone launch an application when you open the kickstand. I figure the switch that detects the kickstand position is getting jiggled when you put the phone down, and it's launching the applicaiton as though you'd actually opened the stand. Probably needs a hardware fix, I'm afraid.
OR
You could change the setting so it doesn't launch an application.

You were right sockatume!
Didn´t know this switch existed, but it was causing the problem.
The link didn´t work when I tried, but I managed to change the settings anyway.
Thanks!
