Hello,

 

I've and N85 with micro sd 8GB micro sd class 2.

The access to the micro sd card to view photos and mp3 is too slow, takes 20 seconds to view a photo on nokia photo browser.

 

I'm planning to phurchase an micro sd 16GB class 10.

Can you please inform if the micro sd class 10 works on N85 and if the access to the micro sd card will improve?

Does the access be like the access to internal memory? (as the class 10 cards have 10Mbit/s write, I expect high speed access!!!)

The card will work but the phone won't make use of the class 10 speed it can provide. It will probably perform the same as a class 4 card.

A large number of files and the ageing operating system are the limiting factors. You may be able to help speed things up a bit by making sure all apps are stored in the phones memory, especially anything that's in constant use.
