Hi

I have just got the N85 and whenever i recieve a message it just puts the message symbol in the top right hand corner of the screen it does not display the message '1 nessage recieved'. The same problem is happening with missed calls. Can someone please help.

Someone suggested deleting all sim messages but i have done this and it still doesn't work.

did you update to the latest firmware version for your phone? you can start by plugging *#7780# it restores default settings but you do not lose any data. the default code is 12345

if you have tons of messages try to remove those. also go to messaging-options-settings- other and set it to 999 and store to memory card if you have not done so already. see if these things helps.

I did the things above and still only the small message icon appears in the top right corner. When i have a missed call only the icon appears too. Is this phone faulty or do i need to plug it into my computer and update the software?? If so how do i do this?
