Is it possible when using Predictive Text to enable the phone to show the list of possible COMPLETE words that match the keys you have entered, as opposed to it just displaying the alternatives for the quantity of letters pressed.

For example, when trying to enter the word 'probably', after the first 5 letters have been entered it offers choices of 'proba' or 'proac' (neither of which are actual words as far as I know).  I would like it to be able to predict the full word.

Unfortunately this feature is only available on a few Eseries handsets (E52, E55, E72) at the moment. Some relatively old Nokia handsets had this feature but it was missing for a long time.

Thanks for your responses.  Unfortunately pressing * does not help as it does not show the full word.  I was anticipating being informed that the feature is no longer included and this is a shame because it takes away one of the really big advantages of Predictive text and of course it still means that you have to be able to spell the word to use it!

Nokia please note:  This is another feature that should be included in a future firmware update.
