N81 8GB bluetooth modem not recognized by PC suite

Hi all,

          new to this board and hope someone can solve my problem. I work in Libya, of which there are two networks, Almadar and Libyana. Using my 6300 via a bluetooth dongle I can connect to the internet,but so slow its hardly useable.The Libyana network is 3g but when I try to connect via the PC suite my N81 bluetooth modem is not listed at all, only the 6300.I am using the N series PC Suite.I can transfer file from my N81 to the pc no problem. It is not practical to use the usb cable as no 3g signal available near the pc.

          Your help would be appreciated

With phones not connected delete all pairings from Bluetooth in Control panel. Then go to Phone and Modems -> Modems and delete everything. Now, reconnect the phones (first the Nokia N81) and check if it is available as a modem under the Phone and Modems option. If it is not, then you might need to reinstall PC Suite...
Nokia 7110 -> Siemens C45 -> Siemens C55 -> Siemens M55 -> Siemens M65 -> Nokia 6131 -> Nokia N73 -> Nokia N82 -> HTC Wildfire -> HTC Desire HD -> Nokia Lumia 800 + Sennheiser CX 500
