N80 casings

Is it easy to change the housing and cases of a N80 or would you recommend letting an expert do it please

Re: N80 casings

I changed my N70 case because it was easy if I can say so. But as far as I can see, the newest Nokia N-Sries (n73, N80, N95, etc.) are more harder to disassemble so I suggest you to go to an expert or to someone who has some experience in this problem.

Hi stevedot

Have PM you link to N80 schematic so that you can make up your own mind whether to have a go yourself or not.:smileysad:

Re: N80 casings

Changing the cases yourself will invalidate the warranty, you should take it to your nearest Nokia Service Centre

Re: N80 casings

Anyone know how much it would cost to get a service center to replace the casing? Mine's looking a little the worse for wear - paint really isn't much good at hanging around on edges.
