N80 Manuals.

I think the manuals for the N80 (and a number of the Nseries phones) really need some work. They just don't contain enough information to allow some users to get full access to their handsets. In particular, I'm thinking about things like using the phone to connect wirelessly to the internet.

For the record, my manual for my N80 is the Voda version included with the Voda branded handset(which isn't substantially different from the regular one.)

Re: N80 Manuals.

You could always download the Nokia versions as pdf's from the web site. I don't know if they have any more info' in them but at least it's not going to have operator specific reffences in eg. Vodafone live etc. Find them here:

Want to laugh?
1. I've recently had a call Russian Nokia Hot Line Support. They say - "we have not read Manual yet, but obligatory will do it" :smileyhappy:.
2. They don't know yet that N80 Wi-Fi can't be OFF.
3. Their (technical support specialists) N80 phones yet with old 3.*** firmware. Remember: now September, 20 !!! I've asked them: "but a new oficial firmware released - almost 1 month ago!" They've answered:"Really? We will try it."

What a Nokia ! :smileyhappy: I love this company :smileyhappy:

Be sure: Russia in EMEA region - big offices in Moscow and St. Peterburg, excellent printed russian Manuals, russian language in firmware interfaces... :smileyhappy:
I wonder: is Nokia and this forum in EMEA region? I've already asked this about "Media player" connection type in N80, but nobody - even Nokia specialists does not know :smileywink:
