N80 Camera settings

Howdy folks

I've had my N80 for a week now, pretty good phone but i do need a lil help on one issue, the flash on the camera, is there a way to turn the flash OFF and save that setting, because every time i change it , and re-open the camera again it goes right back to automatic.

Moreover there's this odd flash notice when taking a picture even when the flash has been set to OFF (as noted in the manual)

so my question is two fold, is there a way to save the flash OFF setting and is there a way to disable that annoying flash notification

any help you can offer would be appriciated.

sides from that, no major problems with the phone, already played with wi-fi , had msn and gtalk going on there, just waiting for skype now :smileywink:

thanks y'all

Re: N80 Camera settings

Check this thread out that was started in the last day or so...

I'm afraid the answer looks like, "No, you cannot switch the flash off permanently".

Looks like a publisher might do well with a third party camera application that has these functions built in.
