N8 video editing in win7, strange results

Im trying to edit filmclip done by my N8. Using windows 7 32 and 64 bit

In Adobe Elements Premiere 9 and Premiere 5, the programs think the filmclip is 500 frames/sec and whn I change to 25fps (In Pre 5) it look very strange with kind of artifakts.

In MS Live Movie Maker, the filmclip is at first uppsidedown after rotated its mirror(right word?)

Original looks very good in MS Media Player

What can I do to correct this ??

Re: N8 video editing in win7, strange results

I have experienced similar problems. When I tried to join 2 clips with Yamb (mp4 joiner) and the end result was a very wide jaggy clip. Same with Mkvmerge. I also converted a clip vith Ati video converter, but the clip is blinking.

Unfortunately I don,t have a solution for you. Just wanted to share my experience.

I have also had the same problem in both Premiere CS4 & CS5. The video plays perfectly in Nero10 & VLC mediaplayer. So far the only workaround that has proved usable is to import into NeroVision10 & re-export as an MPEG2 1440i, which is a real pain & longwinded but looks good when imported into Premiere.

A quicker high quality workaround would be most appreciated!
