N8, unable to install and update apps

Hello

Since 1 week if cannot install or update apps, I always get an error message.

Also looking in the application manager I noticed that the majority of my apps have disappeared from view.

Any ideas about how to fix this?

Re: N8, unable to install and update apps

Maybe try re-installing ovi store, or going to it through the browser to see if you can access your account, the only other alternative would be a reset , but it would involve quite a lot of hard work setting up your phone again !

Back up contacts, calendar and Notes ONLY (full backup and restore may re-install whatever is causing the problem) and then dial *#7370# followed by 12345, the phone will reset to out of the box, but you will lose a lot of apps and data !

Good Luck

Are you having problems with QT apps?

If so, you may just have to update QT files.

There are many posts as to how to do this.
