I'm trying to use internet calling feature on N8 and E7. However, this feature is only supported by WLAN. I can't use internet calling using the data package.
I have fixed data plan and unlimited data package. This is not fair that I am restricted not to use data package for internet calling, while on the go. (In my previous N900, both were supported and it was very convenient for me)
Can anyone suggest me how can I configure N8 and E7 to use either WLAN and Data Package to make internet calls?
(I have already tried after adding data package to the sip settings, but it always notifies like WLAN connection does not exit, search for a WLAN) Although internet on 3.5G is connected already)
Thanks very much

That's what I asked ![]()
How are you using?
When I installed the SIP software, it created a destination after the name of my VoIP service under the "Destinations". I have already added my Data package inside that destination but it doesn't work.
The same thing was working on N97 for me.

3g isn’t activated for sip by default, trying it you get some ‘authentication failure)
you have to enable sip over 3g by setting AWCDMA to ON
but… where? you have to download and install “SIP VoIP Settings”
/Menü/System/Network/Advanced_VoIP_settings -> VoIP_services -> xxx"yoursip"-> Profile settings -> AWCDMA =
