Hi

N8's Phone memory is only 250MB. The default memory for storage mails and other stuff is phone memory. How can I switch to MASS STORAGE or MEMORY CARD. specially mailForExchange msgs?

Default for emails is Mass Storage. For sms you can change it in the Messages' Settings.

I cant find the option to choose from phone memory to Mass storage. My N8 always stuck when the message more 1k.. Please advice... tq

Unfortunately you cannot change the messaging store location in N8. Usually there should be sufficient space on C: memory but if there's any issues, you can try decreasing the number of messages stored in the device. For Mail for Exchange, check the setting "Remove mail after" and for the other email accounts check the "Mail limit" settings.

How silly that is to store ANYTHING in the 256 LOL megabytes memory other than currently running apps?

Come one guys, let's take it real. If you provide a phone with such a low memory amount, try to manage it WISELY please?

Default storage for emails is mass memory. Only sms/mms are using phone's memory. And apparently I was wrong, you can't change it like on 5th edition. I currently have 214 messages and 3 mms on my phone and they're taking 460kb which is nothing IMO. Is there a specific reason why you need to change it?

Mails for Exchange are stored on C. I want them on Mass. What is that you still dont understand here?

Does Anna solve this? My messages right now on phone memory takes up 31 MB, i was wondering what was taking up so much storage and then i realised why when i checked the memory details, can someone spread some light on why it's not possible to change the location for sms/mms or can it be changed later on.
