I'm on the latest firmware .. PR1.1 v013.016

I flashed it because it means i can have unsigned apps and games on it, and the file that gives me continuous auto-focus, better videos and pictures.

I don't see how a tinted screen and an ajax loader being continuously there is normal? =p

The idea is to show that as it buffers, not when it's streaming correctly.

Took the plunge and reinstalled the firmware last night and, no, problem still there.

On top of that, I've now lost my Ovi store as well.

Looks like it's back to the NCC for a reflash before I get onto my POS.

I'm totally peeved off now with this.

Reinstalled and reinstalled and still it doesn't work, let alone the hassle involved.

For some reason, it just WON'T get a license to play these BBC files so I just uninstalled the app altogether!!

I can still and always have been able to stream, but I guess unless a NCC can do something different, I'm lost.

Just to let you all know, finally sent it back to Nokia last month and they fixed the issue.

They said I had a faulty component on the M/b which had caused the problem.

3 day turnaround and the phone is now working like a charm.

Also, they also replaced a broken end cap I had from a "road" drop(!)

All in all, now look forward to what Anna will bring to brighten up my joy!!

Same here bbc iplayer has not been working for about a month or so, I hope they fix it in the Belle update later this month

There is already a separate thread for your issue. It's up to the BBC to issue a fix for this new problem so I don't think upgrading to Belle will make any difference. By the way, I wouldn't expect Belle to be released this side of Christmas. More likely to be next year, Q1.
