Hi,

As subject line says when I try uninstalling *any thing* I always get "Removing Failed" with some games I get "Unable to delete file". Same is true when I try to delete game from NGAGE it gave me error - 2.

I tried doing it from app manager too but same results.restarted my phone and no avail.

As it occuring consistently on all games and apps I guess this problem lies with uninstallation routine, it is probably looking for some file which either is not present or is not accessable.I obviously will try to defer formatting as long as possible.

If you had any games installed in phone memory and you took a backup and formatted your device and then restored it then this problem often occurs in my phone.

The only thing to get rid off it is format your phone memory and dont restore or install those applications in memory card and uninstall it.

You got problem in uninstalling N-Gage game also so hard format your mobile. For that..

1. Backup your mobile's contacts, messages, notes, calender and bookmarks via Nokia PC Suite backup utility. Don't backup anything else like settings or user files etc.

2. Now backup your images, videos and music files using Windows Explorer.

3. Now format your memory card and switch off your mobile.

4. Now press and hold this 3 key "green call key, * and 3" together and switch on your mobile. Press and hold down that 3 button till country insertion dialogue appear. Insert required information.

6. Now connect your mobile with PC and run PC Suite. Wait for a minute. Now click on Help - Reinstall PC Suite support. An installation message will appear in your mobile. Install everything and wait for a minute. Now restart your mobile.

5. Now restore all your backup using PC Suite and explorer.

This will solve your problem. Now install applications you like.

I'll give it a try, I am planning for another option in first place though,

I backed up my phone a month back with all licenses (movies, ngage, non-ngage games and quick office) and applications, do you think that after hard reset restoring that backup file should solve this.
