Re: N78, SportsTracker and LD-4W

Hi,

I've found exactly the same problem with a N95 8GB phone as ggm02 has described.

For the same reason as ggm02 I'm using an external bluetooth gps receiver. The receiver works perfectly with Nokia maps, google maps, etc - no loss of signal or hanging of applications. But Sports Tracker (or the tracking part) will hang after a few minutes / km, while the stopwatch keeps counting.

I've just done a very quick try of ggm02's solution (staying on one of the charts) and over a 25 minute jaunt at lunchtime it seems to have worked.

I'll try more fully later and let you know if this workaround works - let's face it, this is a workaround not a solution :smileywink: Hopefully Nokia will sort this bug out in a future release.

Re: N78, SportsTracker and LD-4W

Hi,

I've got an N95 with firmware 30.0.015. After last update it started acting very strange way- after a walk of one kilometre or so, even less, the track drawing stopped. It counted my steps all right but no track line was drawn on screen anymore.

I walk every day the same route. After the s/w update the N95 stopped acting properly.

Today I went to General Settings > Access Point . It was previously my private WLAN name.
After setting it to everything seemed work OK.

At least my 5 km's walk was recorder well on the screen with no cracks or stops.

Cheerio

In case anyone is interested, downloaded v2.05 (release date 17th Mar 2009) of SportsTracker and that seems to have fixed this issue.
