Feel free to add bugs found in N78-3 (10.136 firmware) here.

1. Does not seem to pair correctly with some bluetooth devices (e.g. CK-7W) and does not do voice dialing correct when it is paired with others. Random stutters and dropouts too.

2. Email shows a blank message then removes the "blank" message from the header list. Reboot and it reappears.

3. Automatic retrieval fails with IMAP email accounts.

4. Email mailbox (IMAP) spontaneously deleted itself one day.

5. When on a voice call the button lights go out after a moment. When you go to hang up you cannot find the red End key because it's not lit up anymore.

6. The D-pad seems to hit select instead of up frequently.

7. The web browser does not use the navi-wheel at all.

8. Some of the web bookmark folders will not delete (e.g. Nokia Downloads).

9. Every application that uses the internet seems to have a different list of possible access points.

The N78-1 has had 2 firmware updates and us poor saps with N78-3 have been sitting around waiting

Another new one: Maps starts with the GPS marked as being "on" but no satellite display or GPS fix. Turning the GPS off then back on fixes it.

- Random reboots that seem to somehow be caused by the Messaging app, although not sure why/how yet

- Music player freezes up entire phone at random for no apparent reason

I really hope a FW update comes out soon because I really love the phone but the instability is starting to become frustrating.

- Starting with firmware 12.046 the "Internet Radio" application does not transmit via A2DP or FM transmitter any longer.

Wow that's a huge problem. I wonder if it's an intentional limitation added or a bug.

Another bug: You cannot close the Music Player application from the Task List (by hitting "C").

I don't like the inconsistient behaviour of the scroll wheel; in some screens it scrolls and in others it doesn't with no clear rhyme or reason as to which ones it works in and which it doesn't.

Also, I frequently have input mis-read as UP when I'm pressing the centre of the pad. Unsure if this is a fat finger issue or a problem with the phone. It sucks though when you're trying to select something and you get UP+enter instead and select the wrong thing.

The "Hit Up and Get (maybe) Up + Enter" bug happens to me every day. It's not just you. Both of the Euro firmwares supposedly tweak the navi-wheel. Wonder if the USA version will ever get such an update.

Good, hammer them with requests and let's make them realize there are USA users out there.

Not sure why she directs you to Nokia Europe to check if your USA version has an update... Especially when the N78-1 got updates over the air.

More Bugs that bug me:

1.No Lifeblog Support or application on phone (and not supported in Nokia Photos either). Makes it hard to keep track of your MMS and text message conversations

2.In the gallery view of photos, you can rotate the photos temporary, but to make it permanent you have to edit and save it (which takes forever to save). try it and you will know what I mean

3.When somebody sends you a MMS and you just want to reply with a text message, pressing the Navi Wheel does not give you the option of reply with text message

4.Creating a message menu does not give you the option of creating a MMS. It will switch the text message to MMS as soon as you add a image to the message (at least something

That is all I can think of right now. Sure there is more.

I sure would like the update for US soon (I know Nokia is not looking at these forums) :-(

When hitting Back in the web browser, the phone frequently jumps to the standby screen. Going to the task list shows the browser is still open, and if I return to it the Back button will work a few times and then it happens again.

when the music plays in the player and I remove the headphones from cellphone, then it through ~ 3 seconds restarted. Somsometimes in 60% of cases

Actually the hitting back button to standby screen may not be a bug. I have found that when I think i am hitting the upper right softkey (back in that case) and actually hit the red call end key. seems to be the build of the key board. Still annoying though

Placing a call from the either Contacts or the Log does not close Contacts or Log, both are left running.

The Nokia Software Updater says "The Nokia Software Updater Service is currently unavailable. Please disconnect your device and try again later."

It has said this for at least 3 weeks.

Voice dialing gives "no match found" about 50% of the time. My 6120 classic did voice dialing correctly about 90% of the time.
