N73 Sports Tracker Still Does Not Work PLEASE FIX

I see people complained about this before /t5/Nseries-Devices-and-S60/Nokia-Sports-Tracker-Won-t-Start-N73/m-p/336675 That was in 2009 with older versions of Sports Tracker. Yesterday i installed the latest firmware from the Nokia website for the N73 on my phone and i just installed Sports Tracker 2.06 on the phone but it does NOT start. Same issue as the other people had in 2009. Is this a new problem now or did Nokia did not learn from its mistakes / failures?! Info of my N73: Firmware version: 4.0839.42.2.1 Sports Tracker version: 2.06 Sports Tracker is installed on phone memory (not sd card) No other extra software is running that could give issues with Sports Tracker (clean installed phone). I really hope to see this problem being fixed as soon as possible. I run 4x a week and my N73 is always with me with Sports Tracker. If it is not possible to fix it i should have to buy a new phone. And that would be a HTC instead.

Sports Tracker is not a  Nokia product  but if you search this forum phone apps you may find an answer ,or go to Sports Tracker web site .

Not a Nokia product? Why is it hosted on http://sportstracker.nokia.com then if it's not a Nokia product???

http://sportstracker.nokia.com also has © Nokia 2007-2009. All rights reserved on the site. So it IS owned by Nokia.....

As per usual jjegan's post was confusing, but the link provided did explain it if you followed the link to the AAS article.

Sportstracker was a nokia beta product but nokia have now ceased development of this experimental service. They are leaving the old site in place for the foreseeable future to support older devices but no further improvements or fixes will be made.

With it being clearly labelled a beta nokia are under no obligation to fix or support this free service any longer.

Another company has now picked up the rights to use and develop the application further but it is unclear if they will be supporting models as old as the N73.

Details of the new company are here:

Re: N73 Sports Tracker Still Does Not Work PLEASE FIX

Ok thanks for the replies guys. Well there is no other solution for me than buying a new phone. As mentioned that would be a HTC. Sports Tracker wasn't the only issue i had with Nokia. I'm not able to record (phone)conversations without a beep every 3 or 5 seconds with Nokia. I have tried probably 5 or 6 different softwares that claimed to be able to record phone conversations but it always had an annoying beep while recording and playback. After complaining these companies often, they told me it's a Nokia issue that Nokia has build in and these companies were not able to get a workaround of that. In my country it is legal to record "sneaky" phone conversations. All other brands seems not to have any issues with it, only Nokia. Anyway, thanks for the replies again. Have a nice day.
