My N73 is now 6 months old. Today, for the first time, I found when I connected it to my PC using USB, nothing was happening. Usually, I get a beep and a little sign on my phone that it is connected, and my PC also says it recognizes the device, etc. Now, I just get a beep, and nothing happens. I re-installed the drivers, PC suite, etc. I also reset my phone to original settings, removed the memory card, etc. It is not a problem with the USB port, because all other devices work fine. In fact, when I connected my phone in the Mass Storage mode, it worked just fine! Please help!!

Check the pop port connector, Check the USB cable, Check if you have selected PC Suite mode, Check if you have installed the PC Suite support in your mobile (I guess, PC Suite 7.x asks you to install the support on your mobile when you connect it for the first time).

Uninstall all installed pc suite, driver package from pc. then run 'ccleaner' to clear the memory and to defrag old registries on pc. ( you will get ccleaner from this link : 'www.ccleaner.com').

Restart your pc. Install 'pc suite 6.8' and 'MTP driver' from the cd.

Connect your phone to pc, let the driver to be installed, then update new pc suite version, without uninstalling the previous.

Think, this will solve your prblem.
