I installed patch and tried with wav format of ring, one time that saved in mobile memory and another in MMC. Nothing changed, everytime it returns back to default boring ring.
Is it possible that Nokia doesn't know where is the problem or how to fix it?
I despaired .

Karim, what do you mean by "not being used correctly" ? I sue the software and set an mp3 or other built in rintone to be the ringtone i hear when the phone rings. How is that incorrect? If it was incorrect why would the phone let me do it? The fix does not work, if anything it is now worse!

Err, my N70 supports .wav perfectly. I've even used it as a ringtone but now changed to a different MP3 one. The N70 should definitely work with .wav, bugs permitting. Never had a problem with mine but the number of posts regarding this seem worryingly high. I think I'll pass on the patch too. If it ain't broke and all that.
